Is Reminiscence on Netflix?

We’ve been hearing about a new science fiction thriller film starring The Greatest Showman‘s Hugh Jackman, and its premise is making us want to watch it. If we’re being honest, any movie with Hugh Jackman is bound to create buzz. The movie is called Reminiscence, and it’s created by Westworld‘s Lisa Joy.

The thriller film reminds us of Leonardo DiCaprio‘s film Inception. But instead of entering people’s dreams, Nick (Hugh Jackman) can relive one’s past.

Of course, traveling to the past is never a good idea because things can become negatively altered, ultimately changing the future. We’re probably going to witness this in the film.

Is Reminiscence on Netflix?

Sadly, the sci-fi thriller starring Hugh Jackman is not available to stream on Netflix. Actually, the movie hasn’t even been released yet. Reminiscence’s synopsis via IMDb:

"Nick Bannister, a private investigator of the mind, navigates the alluring world of the past when his life is changed by new client Mae. A simple case becomes an obsession after she disappears and he fights to learn the truth about her."

However, there are some great sci-fi thriller movies that you can watch on Netflix right now. 2022, In the Shadow of the Moon, MindGamers and Stowaway are all great movies you can watch in the meantime.

Reminiscence releases in theaters on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021. I know many people were tired of watching films on their couches at home. They wanted to experience that movie theater feel while watching a good movie. Fortunately, Reminiscence is giving you that option.

However, if you feel more comfortable watching the sci-fi thriller at your house, Reminiscence will simultaneously be released on HBO Max. Keep in mind that it’ll only be on the streaming service for a month.
