Outer Banks season 2 has finally arrived and what a wild ride the season proved to be! As expected, the second season of Netflix’s breakout drama was full of shocking twists, unexpected developments, and plenty of action and drama.

After sailing off into a storm, John B and Sarah ended season 1 rescued by a boat making its way to the Bahamas, both presumed dead by those back home and on the run after John B was implicated in the murder of Sheriff Peterkin.

Upon making their way to the Bahamas and striking a deal with the boat’s crew, John B and Sarah set their sights on securing the gold. The end result was an elaborate plan to get the gold back which unfortunately didn’t quite go according to plans when their paths crossed with Ward and Rafe.

While pulling off their heist to steal back the gold, things quickly escalated leading Rafe to pull out his gun and firing off a few shots before John B and Sarah managed to escape. At first, it seemed as though John B and Sarah escaped unscathed but we later discovered Sarah had been shot.

Does Sarah get killed in Outer Banks season 2?

After being shot by Rafe, Sarah quickly took a turn for the worst and it was clear she needed medical attention and quick. With Sarah’s condition worsening, John B raced her to a bit of a shady, under-the-table doctor for treatment.

Upon arriving, Sarah undergoes emergency treatment but after taking in too much fluid during and after the procedure to tend to her wound. She ends up flatlining on the table right before John B’s eyes.

Fortunately, John B wasn’t about to let Sarah go without doing everything in his power to try to save her and continues to perform CPR even after what seemed like an endless amount of time. It was right about this time that we really began to question whether Sarah was going to die… and then just as we were about to lose all hope, her heart started beating again and she finally woke up.

The writers definitely had us scared there for a minute, but the good news is that Sarah did not get killed in Outer Banks season 2 and was very much still alive and kicking as the season came to an end!
