Since Manifest was canceled by NBC about a month ago, fans of the show have been fighting every day to #SaveManifest. And there’s a fellow fan out there that Lucifans are very familiar with.

After its cancellation, two of the three seasons of Manifest were added to Netflix a couple of days later. The show immediately gained new fans, almost breaking the record by holding the number one spot in Netflix’s Top 10 list. With its obvious popularity, fans were hopeful the streaming service would save the show.

Netflix initially passed on Manifest season 4, but it looks like they’re reconsidering. And who can blame them? The way the show has skyrocketed on the streaming platform is so impressive! Deadline reports that both NBC and Netflix are in talks to possibly pick up the show once again.

Getting to this point has all been thanks to the fans, and there’s someone else who’s lending their support. It’s Lucifer co-showrunner, Joe Henderson!

Lucifer showrunner supports Manifest

Henderson tweeted his support to Manifest showrunner Jeff Rake and wished him luck in the possible renewal of the show.

Check out the tweet below:

The Manifest cast, crew and fans have certainly been on a rollercoaster as the show’s fate has been up in the air. Even though Netflix passed on saving it, they never gave up hope. And if there’s anyone who can relate to that, it’s definitely Henderson and the Lucifer fandom!

Like Manifest, the devilish show was canceled by Fox after three seasons. Both shows also ended on big cliffhangers, which further disappointed fans of each show. But Netflix swooped in and saved Lucifer and they most definitely don’t regret that decision! It’s become one of Netflix’s most popular shows.

Manifest’s first two seasons have been doing very well on Netflix. The show is still on the Top 10 list. If Netflix does pick it up, I don’t doubt that Manifest will do just as great as Lucifer.

It’s so great to see two of my favorite fandoms coming together and showrunners supporting each other. The filming industry can be difficult and the competition is high. Seeing this support from Henderson is really heartwarming.

Rake’s initial vision was a six-season story for Manifest, but if we can at least get one more season to wrap up the story and finally get those answers on what happened to Flight 828, I’ll be happy.

Hang in there Manifesters! There’s still hope Manifest season 4 will take flight!
