Best Netflix shows and movies like The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead season 10 is coming to Netflix on July 26. This long-running series will soon see its end, as the eleventh season will be the final. Filming for this last season began at the beginning of 2021 and will continue until March 2022. The final season will be a mega season consisting of 24 episodes.

The longevity of this series stems from the character building of series staples like Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Throughout the series, many characters have come and gone who will forever live in the fans’ minds.

The series follows a group of survivors who find themselves in an apocalypse. It follows their stories as they fight off the undead and many unsavory people and groups who feel the apocalypse is a chance to show their true evil natures.

When you are finished watching this series, many other Netflix choices fill that zombie-themed void in your life.

Best Netflid shows and movies: Zombieland

This film is a comedic look at life in an apocalypse. Zombieland focuses on the story of a college student, Columbus, and his journey to see if his family is still alive. He has a set of rules that he follows religiously, which has kept him alive in a world where someone like him would easily perish.

He meets up with Tallahassee, Wichita and Little Rock and after a few bumps in the road, the group decides to travel to Los Angeles to the Pacific Playland amusement park, where it is rumored to be a zombie-free zone.

The film stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin who would all go on to star in the sequel Zombieland: Double Tap. Amber Heard also makes a brief appearance as a neighbor in Columbus’ apartment complex.
