Most recently, the streamer has found success with the Spanish romance movies Though My Window, as well as the Brazilian drama film Burning Betrayal. Burning Betrayal

In October 2023, Netflix released the steamy thriller film Burning Betrayal, which is based on the novel O Lado Bom de Ser Traída by Sue Hecker. Netflix has described the Brazilian movie as a combination of Fifty Shades of Grey meets Sex/Life, and that's perhaps an excellent comparison for fans of those titles who might be interested in checking out the Netflix movie.

Giovanna Lancellotti stars in the movie as an accountant named Babi, who decides to completely transform her life when she finds out that her fiancé has been cheating on her. She begins having an affair with the "hot judge" Marco (played by Leandro Lima) and, on the back of her former lover's betrayal, begins something of a sexual awakening for Babi. But it could come with a cost.

It's no surprise that the movie was a hit with its intriguing plot and eye candy onscreen. The only thing that probably disappointed viewers was that Burning Betrayal isn't a series. There aren't multiple episodes of the story to unfold over a binge-watching weekend.
