What is Fear Street Part 1: 1994 about?

The Fear Street Trilogy will hit Netflix in July 2021. The Netflix original movie series will begin with the release of part 1, titled Fear Street Part 1:1994, on Friday, July 2.

R.L. Stein penned the Fear Street series of teen horror books that have now been adapted into the Netflix trilogy. The books told their own stories while the films will be connected by a common arc. Although the books were written for teens, the movies have more mature content and R-rated. These films are classified as slasher films, which means much gore and blood.

The first film, as mentioned above, will be released on July 2, and Fear Street Part 2: 1978, and Fear Street: Part 3: 1666 will be released on Friday, July 9, and Friday, July 16, respectively.

The Fear Street movies are some of the best new Netflix movies coming in 2021, so you better tune in.

Fear Street Part 1: 1994 plot synopsis

Here’s the official synopsis for Fear Street Part 1, via Netflix:

"In 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected… and they maybe be the next targets."

The trailer shows a murder spree at the mall and footage of a person wearing a skull mask chasing down victims. One of the girls mentions that Sarah Fier is back. Who is she? Is she part of the evil that hangs over the town?
