New Netflix movies: Fear Street

Release Date: July 2, July 9, July 16 

There are three Fear Street movies coming to Netflix in July 2021. The Fear Street movies are based on the popular stories by R.L. Stine, and horror movie fans need to check out these movies next month.

Each movie features a different cast, but it revolves around a similar location and story that spans hundreds of years.

The Netflix movie series kicks off with Fear Street: 1994 on July 2, followed by Fear Street: 1978 on July 9, and finally Fear Street: 1666 on July 16.

Netflix is trying something a little different with the Fear Street movies, and it’s actually really cool. Instead of making fans wait years between movies like we did with To All The Boys and The Kissing Booth, the teen horror movie series will be released weekly on Netflix in July 2021. That means we’ll get the first movie on July 2, followed by the second movies on July 9, and the third movie of the trilogy on July 16.

I don’t know for sure, but I think Netflix viewers are goign to love the new release model for this movie franchise. It’ll be interesting to see if Netflix orders more Fear Street movies and releases them this way AND/OR the streaming network looks at weekly releases for other shows and movies.
