We’ve seen so many good movies on Netflix recently, and there are even more good Netflix movies on the way later this summer!

To help you find a good movie to watch on Netflix this weekend, we picked a few movies that you’ll need to check out. Most of these movies are new, so hopefully, you haven’t seen them. We also tried to keep it diverse and recommend movies across several genres.

Let’s get the list of the best movies on Netflix this weekend (June 26-27) started with The Ice Road, which just premiered on Netflix on Friday, June 25, 2021.

1. The Ice Road 

The Ice Road is a new Netflix original movie starring Liam Neeson as a long-haul truck driver. When a tragedy traps miners down in a mine with time running out to save them, Neeson’s character leads a team of drivers to get vital supplies and rescue equipment to those who can save the trapped miners.

The Ice Road is currently the No. 1 movie on Netflix right now. It’s jam-packed with action, drama and suspense! It’s also on our list of the best action movies on Netflix in 2021.

2. Good on Paper 

If comedy is more your style, this is the Netflix movie for you! Good on Paper stars Iliza Shlesinger, Ryan Hansen, Margaret Cho, Rebecca Rittenhouse.

The new Netflix movie was released on Wednesday, June 23. The movie tells the story of a stand-up comedian, played by Shlesinger, hits it off with a new man, but things are simply too good to be true, right?

3. Fatherhood 

Fatherhood was on our list of the best movies on Netflix for Father’s Day weekend. The film has an incredible cast led by Kevin Hart, Alfre Woodard, and Lil Rel Howery.

The Netflix movie is based on the true story of Matthew Logelin and his family and the memoir, Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love by Matthew Logelin.

After his wife, Liz, passes away, Matthew (Kevin Hart) must raise their newborn daughter, Maddie, with the help of friends and family.

This movie is one of the best Netflix movies of the year so far.

4. Wish Dragon 

Wish Dragon premiered on Netflix on June 11, but it’s still one of the top movies on netflix right now. Currently, it sits at the No. 8 spot on the Netflix Top 10 movies and shows right now.

The animated movie tells the story of Din, played by Jimmy Wong, a teenager who finds Long (John Cho), a dragon who grants Din three wishes. Din uses his wishes to try to reunite with an old friend who moved away when they were young.

Wish Dragon is a must-watch on Netflix. It’s so good!

5. Crazy, Stupid, Love 

Crazy, Stupid, Love is one of the best romantic comedies on Netflix right now. Unfortunately, you’re running out to time to watch the movie on Netflix.

The movie will be removed from Netflix on July 1, so you only have a few more days to watch this great movie starring Steve Carell, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Kevin Bacon, and more on Netflix.

The film tells the story of Cal and Emily Weaver who are going through a divorce after Emily cheats. At a bar, Cal meets Jacob, a man who has lots of luck in the romantic department, teaches Cal some tips to get his life back on track.
