While you might doubt the fact that Castañeda’s character belongs on the list of dateable Netflix heartthrobs, the reality is that he proves to be one of the most emotionally fascinating characters of the entire Hargreeves family.

Diego might seem like a distant and remote man, but if you really pay attention to him, he proves repeatedly that he has deep wells of love and affection. His love for his mother is unparalleled, and he is willing to do anything for her.

When it comes to romance, he may not seem like the first choice, but he does know how to set a stage and connect with the people he wants to connect with. While his upbringing certainly made it hard for him to be emotional with others, his loyalty is above reproach and his ability to do what needs to be done to protect others is amazing.
