How fast do the contestants lose money in Too Hot to Handle season 2?

Who else was counting down the days until addicting trash television returned to Netflix? Too Hot to Handle season 2 is officially here, and fans cannot wait to break open the snacks and wine to binge the latest installment of this chaotic show. If you followed along with season 1 which was released in 2020, you’ll know that the rules are made to be broken on Too Hot to Handle, and with those broken rules means losing out on a lot of money.

The contestants on the show have the potential to win $100,000 by the end of the season — that is, if they abstain from kissing, sex, and self-pleasure. While this is an easy feat for some people, the stars of Too Hot to Handle seasons 1 and 2 are single, flirtatious, and looking to have some sexy fun. Unfortunately for them, they have a virtual host named Lana watching their every move.

So now that the first four episodes of Too Hot to Handle season 2 have dropped on Netflix today, you might be wondering just how turned on these contestants are. How long do the stars keep to themselves, and how fast do they start losing money? Here’s all the information you need to know below.

Who loses money first on Too Hot to Handle season 2?

It doesn’t take long after it’s revealed they are on Too Hot to Handle and have to abstain from intimacy for the contestants to get a little frisky. In fact, the rules are broken less than 24 hours after the sex ban was enforced!

So which couple is the one to rebel? That would be Emily Miller and Cam Holmes. The two hit it off quickly in the premiere episode and make out in episode 2.

But we can’t only blame Emily and Cam, as many of the other contestants then begin to follow in their rule-breaking steps. Next up to hook up would be Carly Lawrence and Chase DeMoor, followed by Melinda Melrose and Marvin Anthony. Then, still in episode 2, Emily and Cam make out again in front of Lana, which Carly walks in on. And that’s not all!

During a game of rock-paper-scissors in episode 2, Melinda and Peter Vigilante hook up, and then Carly and Peter also make out. Later that night, Chase and Carly kiss again while in bed.

And yes, all of that happens during the second episode, very soon after the contestants are told they can’t hook up!

By the end of episode 2, Lana informs the group that they’ve lost $21,000 and are then at a total of $79,000. As you’d expect, they continue to lose money as the episodes go on.
