Are Francesca and Harry from Too Hot to Handle still together?

Get ready, reality TV fans! Too Hot to Handle season 2 is coming at us soon, with the first four episodes debuting on Netflix on Wednesday, June 23. If you watched season 1 of the dating show, you’ll know that this competition is bound to get messy when a new handful of sexy singles come to mingle and have to refrain from having sex. We can’t wait to see how it all goes down!

But as we wait, let’s look back at Too Hot to Handle season 1. The cast was certainly a great pick as each episode was more entertaining than the last, and we got to meet the one and only Chloe Veitch, a fan-favorite contestant who went on to star in The Circle season 2. Another memorable part of the first season was couple Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey. And oh, was their relationship a doozy.

As they were introduced on the show, Francesca was a Canadian babe looking for a fun time and Harry was an Australian player who had already appeared on the reality show Heartbreak Island, which he and his then-girlfriend won. Though the two met on the Netflix show and fell head over heels, what ensued after the show was far from paradise.

Did Francesca and Harry from Too Hot to Handle break up?

In short, yes. Francesca and Harry did in fact split. As Elite Daily recalls, the reality stars continued dating after Too Hot to Handle aired back in April 2019, and even visited each other in their respective countries. But by July 2019, they called it quits. But, like with many couples, this was not their last goodbye.

In February 2020 (per Elite Daily), Francesca and Harry got back together, and that lasted about until June of that year. Fast forward to 2021, and the two were back on (sort of) when sparking reconciliation rumors in May 2021. As reported by US Weekly, Francesca then came out earlier this month to explain that while they were reconciling, they decided ultimately to part ways again.

“We were getting back together,” Francesca said while on a guest on the Domenick Nati Show in June. “We were getting to know each other slowly. And then, he was just being extremely disrespectful to me online.”

For Harry’s part, he also recently spoke out about his relationship with Francesca this month, telling US Weekly, “We tried to give it another go, but [there was] just clear miscommunication on lot fronts.” He went on to explain how their relationship changed after the cameras stopped rolling and Too Hot to Handle aired, saying:

"“It’s very difficult when you have an extremely private relationship, you know, we kept it very private. We [were] filming the show that was private all the way through to when it [aired]. And then once the whole world kind of got a whiff of it, it was very crazy. You have a relationship with just two people [and] now the whole world is putting their energy into it. It kind of, like, gets a little bit foggy, a little bit funky. It’s very difficult dating in this scene.”"

It looks like the fame and the pressures of being in a relationship in the spotlight got to Francesca and Harry, which we can’t blame them for. Becoming famous overnight after starring on a reality show has proven time and time again to be difficult — just look at stars of The Bachelor franchise.

Will Francesca and Harry from Too Hot to Handle get back together?

Given their track record, I’d say it’s highly likely Francesca and Harry will give their relationship another shot. However, by the recent comments made by both parties, it does seem like they’re both very aware of how badly dating can go. Only time will tell whether or not these two are done for good or if they try to reconcile again.
