5 best shows on Netflix this weekend

Summertime is here, and that calls for some relaxation on the weekends by watching shows on Netflix. So far, the month of June has given us some great new choices on the streamer, and there are more coming to finish the month.

The Netflix Top 10 TV Shows list includes some stellar choices, including Manifest, Sweet Tooth, Lupin, Lucifer and Fresh Fried and Crispy. The Top 10 list doesn’t look much different from last week, with most of the same titles, just different rankings. This bodes well for the shows on the list.

We are just about halfway through 2021, and Netflix has released some amazing features for this year so far. And, the year isn’t over; Netflix has a great lineup of shows with seasons yet to be released this year.

Black Summer season 2

Fans of the apocalyptic horror Black Summer were excited to finally get the second season’s release this week. It was a long time coming as the first season aired in April of 2019.

The critics are saying the second season outdoes the fantastic first season of the series. The second season of Black Summer is full of undead terror that will keep you glued to the screen. In a world where the undead has taken over in films and TV series, Black Summer gives the viewer a new perspective on the genre.

The first season gave the viewer a look at life a week or so after the outbreak; the new season picks up only a few months after the first season ends. Black Summer brings back chaos and stress to the zombie genre. The action-packed episodes keep the viewer on alert because you can never know what to expect next.

If zombies are your thing, you must check out Black Summer.
