How long are the Lucifer season 5 part 2 episodes?

The wait for Lucifer season 5 part 2 is nearly over Lucifans as we’ll soon have our first batch of new episodes to enjoy in nearly a year!

On May 28, Netflix will finally drop the second half of Lucifer season 5 in bringing fans the chance finally see what’s next now that God has come down to Earth following the actions of Michael and Lucifer in the season 5 part 1 finale. Of course, that’s just one of the lingering questions on the minds of fans as we’ve also been anxiously waiting to see what’s next for Lucifer and Chloe — and the trailer’s tease of a Deckerstar breakup definitely has left us counting down the days until part 2’s arrival.

While there is a lot we still don’t know about the upcoming batch of episodes, there are two key questions we have the answers to: the number of episodes coming in part 2 and the runtimes of the episodes!

How many episodes will Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 have?

Much like Lucifer season 5 part 1, the upcoming second half of the season will consist of eight episodes. The reason we’ll be getting only eight episodes in part 2 is because of Netflix’s decision to break season 5 up into two parts with half of the season’s 16 episodes having released in August 2020 and the second half now coming with the release to part 2.

When it comes to Netflix Originals, most dramas such as Lucifer tend to have episodes that come in between 50 and 70 minutes in length. This is longer than the usual standard broadcast drama runtime which is a nice tradeoff to Netflix’s typically shorter seasons.

Although the pandemic created concern among fans that Lucifer season 5 part 2’s episodes might be shorter in length, the good news is that we can confirm no episode of part 2 will come in under 53 minutes. Even better? Lucifer season 5 part 2 will have three episodes that come in past the one-hour mark!
