What is Jurassic World season 3 about?

The Netflix original series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous does a great job at paying homage to the film that put the irrational fear of a dinosaur takeover in us all. (Okay, maybe it’s a bit rational.)

The animated series has been doing well amongst its audience, receiving an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes with most of the reviews commending the show for how well its first two seasons captured the terror of a real-life encounter with an Indominus Rex while still making the episodes kid-friendly.

What is Jurassic World season 3 about?

Jurassic World season 3 will continue where the second season left off, answering tons of questions—including just what is this mysterious E750 classified dinosaur?

As they learn more about what’s happened and is happening on Isla Nublar, the main characters must put their heads together to get off the island. But Mother Nature has other plans, at least for part of the upcoming season.

More from the official synopsis for season 3:

"The campers uncover more details of Dr. Wu’s secret research and must quickly take their fate into their own hands with a dangerous plan to leave Isla Nublar behind for good. But when a tropical storm delays their departure, a lethal new threat quickly closes in on the campers, placing their escape, as well as their lives, in extreme peril."

The full main cast of the show is returning for the new season, with Paul-Mikel Williams, Ryan Potter, Raini Rodriguez, Sean Giambrone, and You actress Jenna Ortega all reprising their roles.
