Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things is Marvel’s Black Widow in stunning image

Add Black Widow to the list of roles we want Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown to play in the future after seeing a new image from artist thesonnyfive.

Brown as Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, was shared a few weeks ago on Instagram, and it’s amazing how similar Brown looks to Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, in the image.

We’ve seen Brown dreamcast as Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) in deepfake, along with a number of major Marvel characters, including Phoenix, in fan art.

If Marvel is making a Black Widow prequel to the prequel that’s coming out later this year, Brown has to be considered for the role of Natasha Romanoff, especially if the prequel skews younger to show some of Romanoff’s childhood.

It will be really interesting to see if Marvel and Disney Plus begin to start doing prequel series on the streaming service. We’ve seen how the sequel series and continuations can do with WandaVison and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. I’m wondering if we could start to see prequels with younger stars taking over the roles? It could be a really interesting way to tell different stories about these heroes and villains without adding or interrupting the current storylines in place in the MCU.

Based on reports, it sounds like Brown is already in talks with Marvel and DC for possible roles. We’ll likely see Brown in more roles in big movies once Stranger Things is done and maybe even while the Netflix series is still happening.

We’re still waiting to see Stranger Things season 4 on Netflix. In an Instagram video with David Harbour, Brown said she’d been filming season 4 recently. The series is still filming, but we’re not expecting the new season until 2022.
