Netflix is adding 20 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means lots of new movies and shows are coming to Netflix. While the warmer weather may be calling you outside, your television’s siren call won’t be silent!!

So whether you’re looking to watch a documentary on a heist, a new superhero movie, or a short film, the streaming service has something for everyone this week.

Ready for an art heist?? Who isn’t? Netflix’s newest docu-series, This is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist comes out on Wednesday, April 7. The series tells the story of two men in the 1990s who tricked their way into the Boston art museum and stole a fortune worth of art. I am so excited to watch this!

More in the mood for a superhero film? Thunder Force starring Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer hits Netflix on Friday, April 9. The film follows two childhood best friends who team up to defeat the world’s biggest supervillains. But first, they must undergo treatment to give themselves powers to protect the city.

This Is A Robbery, Thunder Force and Two Distant Stranger on Netflix this week

Looking to watch an Oscar-nominated short film? Two Distant Strangers, starring Joey Bada$$, Andrew Howard and Zaria, comes to Netflix on Friday, April 9.

The film follows a cartoonist’s attempts to get home to his dog. Unfortunately, he’s repeatedly stopped by a dangerous encounter that forces him to repeat the same day over and over again.
