The dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale starring Elizabeth Moss has been an exceptional adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name, and many Netflix subscribers are curious to know if the series is available on Netflix.

The narrative takes place in the not too distant future during dystopia following a Second American Civil where a Theocratic Dictatorship rules the nation. In the story, fertility has become an issue, and those who are fertile are forced into a concubine slave-like role where they are abused during a ceremony meant to impregnate them.

In the show, Moss plays Offred, aka June Osborne, one of the concubines that over time begins to rebel and becomes a force the powers that be begin to fear. Since its arrival, the series has earned 8 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe awards, making it a must-watch affair.

In December 2020, it was announced that The Handmaid’s Tale had been renewed for a fourth and fifth season, making the demand for the show rise to an all-time high. It’s no wonder why subscribers would be eager to learn if it is available on Netflix.
