Borat Subseqent Moviefilm is the Golden Globe-nominated sequel to the 2006 international sensation Borat that many Netflix subscribers are curious to learn as to whether or not the fantastic follow-up is available to stream on Netflix.

The film sees the titular character from the first movie return to bring his daughter Tutar to be offered as a bride for former Vice President Mike Pence during the coronavirus pandemic and 2020 election. Sasha Baron Cohen returns to the role that made him a household name along with breakout star Maria Bakalova.

There is no denying that making a successful comedy feature is no easy endeavor and trying to do so when COVID-19 is a factor seems like an even more impossible task.  But somehow, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm overcame the odds garnering an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score and according to Variety, the follow-up flick was one of the most-watched straight-to-streaming titles of 2020.

The motion picture also met with its fair share of controversy with scandals involving former New York Mayor turned Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to Baron Cohen almost getting attacked by an angry mob while filming. There is never a dull moment in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and its no wonder that subscribers are wondering if it’s on the streaming service.
