Netflix’s Shadow and Bone sneak peek coming tomorrow

The moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here, Shadow and Bone fans. No, it’s not the Shadow and Bone release date; that’s scheduled for April 23, 2021.

It appears that the first look at Shadow and Bone is coming on Friday, Feb. 26.

On social media, the official Netflix accounts and the official Shadow and Bone accounts shared new key art for the first season with the caption: “Tomorrow we enter the fold.”

What does that mean? Well, fans of Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse and the Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows books know all about it. For new fans, it might be a little complicated!

Luckily, IGN Fan Fest 2021 is hosting a Shadow and Bone panel and sneak peek at the new Netflix original series on Friday, Feb. 26. I’m hoping the cast and creative team, combine with the sneak peek, will make it easy for fans to understand.

It hasn’t been confirmed whether we’re getting a little teaser, the first full-length trailer, or a new clip from the first season during the IGN Fan Fest panel. Whatever it is, it’ll be the first real look we get at Shadow and Bone, and that’s super exciting!

The panel kicks off at 8 a.m. PT on IGN on Friday, Feb. 26.

To be determined on when this sneak peek will drop. I’m hoping they roll it out beforehand, but sometimes, they make fans wait until the end of the panel to see the clip or trailer.

I have a few things I’m hoping to see in the sneak peek, but I’ll be happy with anything, honestly. I’m just so excited to see Shadow and Bone on Netflix. I have high hopes, but I think the show might surpass those expectations. It’s going to be even bigger, and hopefully better, than The Witcher.

I’m speculating, but I think we’ll likely be introduced to all the main cast and characters in the sneak peek. According to IGN, Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, and Kit Young will be included in the panel, so we should get a look at their respective characters.

Eric Heisserer, the showrunner, and Bardugo will also be involved with the panel.

We’re also hoping Shadow and Bone season 2 is announced soon, maybe even before the first season premieres.
