Pelé, the incredibly enthralling and eye-opening documentary film that takes a deep dive into the life of a Brazilian Football icon, is coming to Netflix tonight.

The enticing ordeal produced by award-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald is set against the backdrop of what can only be described as a turbulent period of time for the country of Brazil and captures the captivating journey Pelé took from a breakout talent to a national hero resulting in him being revered as a legend bigger than the sport itself. The Netflix original documentary chronicles the life of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, aka Pele, unlike any other form of media, has done before and gratifyingly glorifies his legacy as “The King of Football.”

Viewers that experience this excellent endeavor will be privy to some rare and exclusive filmed access of Pelé himself as well as interviews from former teammates Zagallo, Jairzinho, and Amarildo.
