Netflix is adding 19 new movies and shows this week

The final full week of February is already here which means we are shockingly close to the dreaded month that is March. But it’s not all bad! There are a bunch of new movies and shows coming to Netflix this week to keep us entertained.

Whether you’re looking for a sports documentary, a new Netflix Original series, or a comedy special, the streaming service has something for everyone this week.

On Tuesday, Feb. 23, Pelé comes to Netflix. The documentary follows a 12-year period from 1958-1970 when the footballer went from a young, talented star to a national hero while Brazil was simultaneously going through a rough political era. Pelé is the only man to win three World Cup titles.

More in the mood for a feel-good series? Ginny & Georgia hits Netflix on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The series follows 15-year-old Ginny who is trying to get through life with her mother, Georgia, who sometimes feels younger than her.

This week Pelé, Brian Regan and Ginny & Georgia are headed to Netflix

The mother and daughter are settling down in New England or at least Ginny hopes so. They’ve spent years moving from place to place and Ginny wants to finally find somewhere she can call home.

Looking for something to make you laugh? Brian Regan has a new special called Brian Regan: On The Rocks coming to Netflix on Tuesday, Feb. 23. The comedian brings his signature self-deprecating humor to the special where he talks about his hair, bagpipes, aging, horses, and OCD. Clearly, there is no topic he won’t cover and make hilarious.

This week also brings The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga on Sunday, Feb. 21 as well as Captain Fantastic starring Viggo Mortensen and Geroge MacKay on Friday, Feb. 26.
