Netflix adds 23 new movies and shows this week: Good Girls season 3 and more

A new week is here and that doesn’t just mean Valentine’s Day is here, it also means a bunch of new movies and shows are being added to Netflix! This week brings a new docu-series about American history, a comedy thriller, and a new season of a network crime drama. There’s a little something for everyone.

On Wednesday, Feb. 17, Amend: The Fight for America hits Netflix. The docu-series is hosted by Will Smith and explores the Fourteenth Amendment of the US Constitution. This amendment gave citizenship as well as equal civil and legal rights to African Americans and former slaves who had been emancipated after the Civil War.

Mahershala Ali, Samuel L. Jackson, Pedro Pascal, Yara Shahidi, and others join in on the conversation and discuss what the amendment means for today.

If you’re more in the mood for a unique comedy-thriller, you might want to check out I Care a Lot when it comes to Netflix on Friday, Feb. 19. The film stars Rosamund Pike, Dianne Wiest, Peter Dinklage, Eiza González, Chris Messina, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.

Amend: The Fight for America, I Care a Lot and Good Girls on Netflix this week

I Care a Lot tells the story of a corrupt legal guardian who takes money from her elderly wards. But she underestimates her latest case. This woman is not to be messed with.

Looking for a series to watch that’s one part comedy, one part crime drama? Good Girls is definitely the show for you! The third season of the show is coming to Netflix on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Good Girls stars Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, and Matthew Lillard. The series follows three moms who find themselves in desperate times and decide to take matters into their own hands.
