Did you miss out on viewing the premiere season of NBC’s Good Girls during its original run? Now you have another chance thanks to Netflix.
The first season of the crime comedy-drama is now available to Netflix viewers in the US. International subscribers have been able to watch the debut season since July of last year. This gives viewers a new opportunity to catch Good Girls ahead of the release of the second season which will begin on NBC in March.
The 10-episode first season debuted in late February and ran until the end of April. It centered on three women who are all mothers that have fallen on hard times. They decide to pull off a robbery heist to solve their money problems but end up well over their heads when they get involved with a dangerous group of people.
The well-received series features a stellar cast. Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman star in the lead along with a cast that includes Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Matthew Lillard, Zach Gilford, and Allison Tolman.
The news regarding the release of Good Girls on the streaming service may come as a bit of a surprise. The title was not included on any upcoming release lists that Netflix makes readily available ahead of each month. The release was tipped off on social media by some of the cast members of the show.
