Is there a fourth To All the Boys book?

To All the Boys is an excellent book series for YA rom-com fans. Is there a fourth book in the series? Let’s look at Jenny Han’s plans.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han brought us something we didn’t realize we needed. Or maybe we knew we needed it, but not in the way the story was told.

We got this story not just about a teenage girl who writes love letters to boys (something we’ve all been guilty of over the years), but one who is also going through a period of self-discovery. Over the course of three books, she has to figure out if her life is all about the boys in them or whether there’s more that she wants.

Like so many books, we end with a happy ending. That’s the standard rom-com thing, but Always and Forever, Lara Jean doesn’t quite wrap things up in a neat bow. It just ends the tale for now. It leads us to wondering if there’s still more to come.

Will To All the Boys 4 happen?

Right now, there isn’t a fourth book in the story. That doesn’t mean there never will be.

Back in February 2020, Han teased that there is a chance a fourth book will happen. It’s clear that LJ and Peter’s story isn’t quite over yet. Although, it’s more that LJ’s story isn’t over yet if you look closely at the books. These have all been about this young woman finding her place in live, and not just about her relationship with a boy.

There hasn’t been an update since that, though. Of course, Han could be working on the book right now and doesn’t want to spoil anything, but a lot of focus has been on the movies. She also has The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is coming to Amazon Prime Video.

If the fourth book happens, a fourth movie could also happen.
