Well, we made it through January 2021 and find ourselves at the first weekend of February. I don’t know about you, but where I live, the temperatures will be in the single digits this weekend. So, that means time to binge on some Netflix shows.

February is going to bring us many great movies and shows to add to our queue. Netflix is constantly cranking out amazing new shows to keep us entertained. Be sure to check out the New and Popular page on Netflix. Here you can find out what is new, the top ten list, and what is coming in the next couple of weeks.

If you haven’t checked out shows like Bridgerton, The Queen’s Gambit, or Lupin, be sure to add these to your list. These are newer Netflix shows that are outstanding.

There are always the old standbys like Grey’s Anatomy, Breaking Bad, You, Stranger Things, and The Walking Dead. But, sometimes it is just fun to watch something new!

Below is a list of the best Netflix shows to stream right now

Firefly Lane

This week Firefly Lane released and is already sitting number one on the Netflix Top 10 TV shows.

This series is a tale of two longtime friends, Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke).  The series spans their 30-year friendship and all the ups and downs and trials and celebrations their friendship brings.

Firefly Lane adds to Netflix’s large catalog of books-to-series list. This series is based on two books by Kristin Hannah. Firefly Lane and Fly Away. 

The first season is available now and also stars Ben Lawson, Beau Garrett, Ali Skovbye, Roan Curtis and Yael Yurman. This one is one series you don’t want to miss.

Heartland

Two seasons of Heartland were released on Netflix on Feb. 1st. This Canadian drama is based on the Heartland book series by Lauren Brooke.

The story follows Amy Fleming and her older sister Louise “Lou” Fleming and their lives on their family ranch in Alberta. They live with their grandfather, father and farmhand. This series chronicles their family bonds and ranch life.

All 13 seasons of this series are available to stream on Netflix. The series has been renewed for a 14th season, but no release date has been set.

Invisible City

This series is a Brazilian fantasy series. Invisible City was released on Feb. 5 and it is already sitting at number eight on the Netflix Top 10 TV shows list.

This series follows an environmental detective Eric (Marco Pigossi) that uncovers a world where mythical creatures reside. Viewers are very intrigued by tales of folklore. This series focuses on creatures from Brazilian folklore.

Eric will team up with these mythical beings to help solve his wife’s murder. Each episode ends with loopholes that will be filled in with the subsequent episodes.

And easy binge-watch for a weekend.

Gabby’s Dollhouse

If you have little ones in the house, Dreamworks Gabby’s Dollhouse is a new series that is sure to entertain. This series is already sitting on Netflix’s TV Top 10 list.

This series follows the imagination of Gabby, who transforms herself into her own imaginary animated world in her dollhouse. Gabby, along with her sidekick Pandy Paws teaches cooking, gardening, science, and crafting in a fun and simplistic way.

It is fun, musical entertainment your toddler is sure to love.  And, it’s from Dreamworks, which always provides great entertainment.

Ozark

This Netflix show isn’t new, but it is fantastic. If you have never watched Ozark and enjoy any type of crime drama, watch this one now.

The Byrd family relocate to the Ozarks to launder money. Things go sideways and the events that transpire are shocking and amazing.

Such great story writing, and the cast is amazing. The series stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jordana Spiro, Jason Butler Harner, Esai Morales, Peter Mullan, Lisa Emery, Charlie Tahan, Janet McTeer, Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes.

Netflix has 3 seasons available to stream, and it has been renewed for a fourth and final season. The final season will be released in two parts consisting of a total of 14 episodes.
