Cobra Kai season 3 certainly brought us many answers to the questions left at the end of season 2. It also brought us more throwbacks to the movies. Now it’s time to break down that ending and look ahead at what’s to come.

The good news is Cobra Kai season 4 is happening. That’s more like great news since the third season ended the way the previous ones did.

Yes, there was the epic showdown, but there was also a major cliffhanger. It was nothing quite on the level of the high school fight, but it was enough to leave us with a lot of questions.

So, let’s get into the breakdown of the Cobra Kai season 3 ending and what it could mean for season 4.

Daniel and Johnny bring their rivalry to an end

The biggest thing in season 3 was seeing Daniel and Johnny bring their rivalry to an end. And this time, it looks like it’s for good.

Thanks to Ali showing up, she managed to get Daniel and Johnny to stop their childish games. It’s time for them to work together—the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that that Kreese said is somewhat true in this instance.

They both do want the same thing. They want to both bring Kreese down, protect their students, and help Robby.

And so, after a fight against Kreese, which ended with Daniel using some of the skills he learned from Chozen while in Okinawa, the two decided it was time to bring Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang Karate together.

It’s a step in the right direction. There will likely be some ups and downs along the way during Cobra Kai season 4, but at least they are united and past their rivalry from high school.
