October Faction is very similar to Supernatural. Instead of just two brothers, it follows a family of demon hunters. Think of it as a cross between Supernatural and Superstition.

After the death of his father, Fred reluctantly takes his family back to his childhood home. Soon, his twins start to show supernatural abilities. This is nothing unusual for Fred, though. He and his wife are part of a secret society of monster hunters.

Locke & Key

Another show based on a book series is Locke & Key, and this is one that does have more than one series. In fact, it was recently renewed for a third season way ahead of the second season premiere.

The show follows the Locke siblings, who go to their father’s childhood home after his mysterious death. While there, they find a bunch of keys that all have different abilities such as travel to different places, going into a mirror prison world, and more.

Of course, there’s a creature after the keys. Can the Locke siblings keep the keys protected? What happens when the creature seems to be one step ahead of everyone else?
