We don’t know if Netflix will or will not pick up Tiny Pretty Things season 2. That’s going to depend on a number of factors, including the viewership. If enough people binged through this series then it will be picked up. It’s a numbers game.

After all, it is all business for Netflix.

But is there even any source material to create a second season? This is where there’s some great news.

Shiny Broken Pieces is the novel you need to follow on from Tiny Pretty Things. Bette, June, and Neveah (who is Gigi in the books) move past getting the lead in the school production and focus on graduation. That’s all we’ll say to not spoil how the first season ends.

So, there is source material. Not like that matters since we know TV shows can create fresh content without source material. Just look at Big Little Lies season 2!

Will Netflix renew Tiny Pretty Things season 2?

It all comes down to whether Netflix will renew it or not. With any hope, the numbers look good.

While Netflix doesn’t have a strict pattern of delivering news (we’re still waiting for Cursed season 2 news!) it does have a habit of renewing most shows within two months of the release. We should hear about this show by the beginning of 2021.

With any hope, it’s good news. We need more campy dramas like Tiny Pretty Things.
