Could Jessica Jones, Kingpin and Luke Cage join Spider-Man 3?

Spider-Man 3 is officially turning into the biggest Marvel movie since Avengers: Endgame. Seemingly, everyone who is anyone will be involved with the project, including, if the rumors are reports are to be believed, Charlie Cox as Daredevil, according to Murphy’s Multiverse.

Cox starred as Matthew Murdock, also known as Daredevil, in Marvel’s Daredevil. The series ran for three seasons of Netflix before it was canceled. Daredevil helped launch the Netflix-Marvel sector of the greater Marvel Universe with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Punisher, The Defenders, and a whole bunch of characters.

With Daredevil officially joining the MCU, it seems like the door is open for other characters from the Netflix-Marvel world to be re-introduced in the MCU. There are plenty of opportunities to make it happen, especially with the street-level MCU shows coming to Disney Plus soon, like She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel and more.

As of right now, it doesn’t look like there are plans to bring back Kingpin, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage for Spider-Man 3 just yet. We haven’t heard anything official, so it’s still possible that the characters could be involved.

While there is room for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, it’s not essential to bring them into the fold right now. That could come later. Kingpin, on the other hand, is a different story. He needs to be in Spider-Man 3. Literally, like every other Spider-Man villain seems to be in this movie. Kingpin is a key Spider-Man villain. We need to see him in Spider-Man at some point, and now, Marvel can make that happen easily by including Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio, who starred as Kingpin.

D’Onofrio is a great Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and it seems like he wants to continue playing the character. I don’t think Marvel could find a better actor to play Kingpin.

The time to include Kingpin in the MCU is right now. Hopefully, it’ll happen in Spider-Man 3. We’ll let you know more about the Spider-Man 3 cast when we find out.
