In the mood for a movie featuring or starring Joey King? Netflix has you covered!

The talented actress is slowly but surely becoming a Netflix movie star staple these days. And audiences have been totally here for it. Sure, there aren’t a ton of flicks on the streaming service where we can see Joey King just yet, but her career is still very much just beginning to bloom. So stay tuned.

And in the meantime, her movies available on Netflix right now are definitely worth a look. So without further ado, here are the movies on the platform this minute starring Joey King.

The Kissing Booth

According to PopBuzz, The Kissing Booth hit Netflix’s Top 10 list with a bang when it first dropped in 2018, quickly becoming one of the “most watched movies in the country,” following its highly-buzzed about debut. Hence how The Kissing Booth 2 came to be, I suppose.

Netflix describes the plot as:

"When teenager Elle’s first kiss leads to a forbidden romance with the hottest boy in high school, she risks her relationship with her best friend."

The Kissing Booth 2

Forbes has said that The Kissing Booth 2 is actually “better” than the first movie, helping to solidify King as a household name on the streaming platform and beyond. In its first weekend, the teen rom-com was once again one of the most-viewed movies on the streaming platform. Kudos, Joey King!

Netflix describes the plot as:

"With college decisions looming, Elle juggles her long-distance romance with Noah, changing relationship with bestie Lee and feelings for a new classmate."

Wish I Was Here

While she’s not the main character in this one, it’s certainly worth a watch anyway, and her role is pretty crucial to the plot. Not to mention, King’s acting chops brightly shine through with this more-serious role.

Starring Zach Braff, Kate Hudson, and Donald Faison, this 2014 tearjerker has frequently been praised for its “life-like” quality. According to the Rotten Tomatoes Critics Consensus, Wish I Was Here is undeniably “heartfelt.” And we’d second that much.

Netflix describes the plot as:

"With his acting career moribund, Aidan Bloom steers a new tack in life, taking over his children’s education when private school becomes too costly."

Also, there’s more good news for King fans. The Kissing Booth 3 is coming to Netflix next summer! And on top of that, King will star in an adaptation of Scott Westerfeld’s dystopian fantasy Uglies for Netflix. There’s a lot to look forward to for this actress.
