The Kissing Booth 3 Netflix release date

From the moment Netflix first announced The Kissing Booth 3 was not only in the pipeline but had already been filmed, fans have been anxiously waiting for any news on the third film.

While many’s curiosity lies with the plot and cast for the upcoming third film in the franchise, the burning question on the minds of fans everywhere has been when exactly Netflix will release the film.

Typically, Netflix is not big on confirming release plans too far in advance and likes to instead keep things under wraps until a month or two before a film or show’s release. However, upon accepting an award at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards, star Joey King dropped a major bombshell on fans in confirming a rough timeline for the film’s release.

During the 2020 People’s Choice AwardsThe Kissing Booth 2 not only took home the award for The Comedy Movie of 2020 but the beloved film also managed to help its star Joey King take home the honor of The Comedy Movie Star of 2020 for her role in the film as lead Shelly ‘Elle’ Evans.

In accepting her award, King dropped a major reveal on fans when she confirmed The Kissing Booth 3 will arrive on Netflix sometime in summer 2021!

Although an exact month or date would have been great, we’ll happily take the confirmation that the third film in the franchise will follow tradition with a summer 2021 release. Given that summer will officially begin on June 20, 2021, and end on Sept. 22, 2021, it seems we can expect The Kissing Booth 3 to premiere on Netflix sometime during that range of time.

Considering the second film in the franchise dropped on Netflix in July 2020, it seems logical to assume the third film might also drop sometime in late July setting The Kissing Booth 3 up to become a breakout summer movie of 2021!
