Netflix shows we missed in 2020: Dear White People season 4

Season 4 of Dear White People was another show affected by the pandemic. It was supposed to air sometime in 2020, but that date has been pushed back to 2021. Fans have got to be hurting after learning it will be a whole year until their favorite show comes back.

The show follows a group of Black students at a predominantly white Ivy League college where they face racism and discrimination while dealing with the pressures that come with being in school, navigating relationships, and figuring out life on their own.

The series is based on the 2014 film of the same name and stars Logan Browning, Brandon P Bell, DeRon Horton, Antoinette Robinson, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson, Marque Richardson, and Giancarlo Esposito.

The end of season 3 put everything to do with the Order of X on the table. Literally. While the season 3 finale had lots of resolutions, the cliffhanger ending stirred up all kinds of questions of what season 4 will be about.

Troy showed up at Sam and Lionel’s hang session with a gold Order of the X button, the only proof they have that the Order of the X actually exists. The episode then fades to black. Will season 4 mean the group finally brings down the Order of the X?

We’ll have to wait until late next year to find out. But one thing is for sure: Sam, Lionel, and Troy will have to finally come together to bring down the Order.
