5. Emily in Paris

Made by the creator of Sex and the City, Emily in Paris another show on my list that simply glorifies stereotypes and tries to get away with it. Starring Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, and Lucas Bravo, prepare to see Paris in a way you’ve never seen before because it simply doesn’t exist. The main character is unrelatable, and the plot, in general, lacks depth. Despite the stunning visuals and amazing costumes, the show feels dry and predictable.

However, the show still somehow managed to be on the list of most-watched shows of the year and even landed another season, but I Am Not Okay With This, Messiah, and The Society were canceled…

6. The King: Eternal Monarch

If I were to make a list about one of the most visually stunning shows released in 2020, The King: Eternal Monarch would probably make it to the top. However, that’s all to it. The storyline is so simple yet delivered in a confusing way, introducing new characters every few minutes for no reason at all. The only way you can get through all of the 16 tedious hour-long episodes of this one is if you are a fan of the lead actors – Lee Min Ho and Kim Go-eun.

Do you agree with the list? Which are the worst Netflix shows of the year according to you?
