The Office is leaving Netflix in exactly one month

It’s officially time to start your last binge-watch of The Office on Netflix.

The Office is leaving Netflix on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2020). That means you have exactly 31 days to watch The Office on Netflix before it leaves the streaming service.

We’ve known for quite a while that The Office will be leaving Netflix. There were rumors about it for years, and it’s actually been scheduled to leave the streaming service before, but Netflix re-upped the deal for the streaming rights.

The series likely would have remained on Netflix for a long time, but NBCUniversal recently started their own streaming service, Peacock. And, The Office is moving from Netflix to Peacock. Likely, The Office will be available to stream on Peacock on Jan. 1, 2021.

The Office is the most popular show on Netflix for pretty much all of 2020. Before that, it was the second-most popular show behind Friends, which left Netflix at the end of 2019.

It’s a bummer for fans of The Office that the series is leaving Netflix. There are plenty of ways to watch the series, though. You can subscribe to Peacock, watch re-runs on TV with a streaming service, or buy all the episodes of DVD and Blu-ray.

According to Bingeclock, you can watch the full series in just more than four days. Obviously, that’s four days straight of watching, but you can easily finish the series in a month if you start now.

The Office is on the list of the best TV shows on Netflix. If you haven’t started watching the series now, you should do so soon and before it leaves the streaming service at the end of the year.
