All six seasons of Gossip Girl are leaving Netflix next month

Hey there, Upper East Side. We have some bad news for those who binge-watch Gossip Girl on Netflix all the time.

All six seasons of Gossip Girl are leaving Netflix on Dec. 31. This is your last call to get that final binge-watch in.

Of course, the episodes won’t disappear forever. You can always get the boxset or buy on Digital. But this is your last chance to watch the CW series on Netflix.

Where is it going after this? Probably HBO Max, although at the time of writing this, the full list of December arrivals hasn’t been released. It makes sense to head there since the series is a Warner Bros. production and the Gossip Girl reboot is going to be a HBO Max original.

What is Gossip Girl about?

For those who somehow missed the crazy drama when it first came out in 2007, Gossip Girl focuses on the lives of New York’s elite. After leaving New York a year earlier, Serena van der Woodsen is back. There are plenty of reasons why S left New York for a boarding school, but nobody has ever confirmed those rumors.

Her best friend, B, has taken over as Queen of their private school, and she’s not best pleased that S is suddenly back. To be honest, she’s just hurt that S left without a word.

Throw in Nate Archibald, Chuck Bass, Dan and Jenny Humphreys, and many more, there is certainly plenty of drama to be had.

All the while, someone who runs a gossip site is set to ruin the lives of the Upper East Side’s elite. Can they figure out who is behind the site while trying to avoid the site ruining their relationships?

XOXO
