Gossip Girl was a favorite for many in the late 00s. Now it’s time to get your fix with other shows like Gossip Girl on Netflix.

Almost every teen/young adult in the late 00s tuned into Gossip Girl. Starring Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen and many others, it was the mystery dramedy that everyone was talking about. You could forget about your own life and, for an hour a week, be on the inside of the socialites of the Upper East Side.

We went through a tremendous ride with Serena, Blair and all the others on Gossip Girl’s radar. Scandals happened weekly, with no secret safe. There’s no doubt that millions watch it now that it’s on Netflix, opening the door to newer fans who want to see whether Serena and Blair’s friendship will ever make it through.

Between the re-watches, you likely want to catch something else. After all, there are only so many times you can watch the six seasons of arguments, scandals, and drama. Netflix is certainly the place to be, as there are plenty of shows that will offer something similar.

Whether you want the mystery surrounding the individual person attacking the main protagonists or you’re interested in the high school scandals, there are Netflix Originals and shows streaming from other networks available to watch. Modern day and period-set shows offer just the sort of high school drama you’re craving for.

Here are five shows on Netflix that will give you a taste of Gossip Girl. You may even see some former Gossip Girl stars.
