Netflix shows: Money Heist

Money Heist is coming to an end after season 5. We learned Money Heist season 5 was in the works earlier this year.

Money Heist season 4 premiered on Netflix in April 2020. Netflix announced Money Heist was returning this summer. Production started shortly after that.

As things stand, it looks like Money Heist season 5 is still filming. Once filming wraps, we should have a better idea when the new season will be added to the streaming service.

I’m hoping to see Money Heist season 5 on Netflix sometime in the spring or summer of 2021. It could be delayed until fall or winter if there are production delays or things happen related to the pandemic.

It’s a bummer that this show is ending, but I’m glad that we get one last chapter to see what happens. This is truly one of the best and most entertaining Netflix original shows to date.

I hope that Netflix is able to replicate this success in another show. I love heist shows and movies, and there aren’t that many good ones available to stream.
