Fans were hoping to see Atypical season 4 on Netflix late this summer, but the new season of the series was not released. Atypical season 3 premiered in September 2019, and we usually wait a year for new seasons of the show. So, what gives?

Well, Atypical season 4 is coming to Netflix in 2021. We don’t know when yet, but Netflix announced, late last year, that Atypical season 4 would be the final season and that it would be released in 2021.

It’s unclear how the pandemic and production shutdown affected the release date for Atypical season 4. It looks like Atypical season 4 will be filming in early 2021. We usually have to wait about a year from the start of production on a Netflix show until it is released. For a show like Atypical, that gap will likely be a little bit shorter.

So, we should see Atypical season 4 by the end of 2021. Again, things could change depending on what happens with the pandemic and if there are production delays. Hopefully, things go as smoothly as possible and the cast and crew are safe and healthy.
