Is The Grinch on Netflix?

It’s almost December, so that means it’s time to watch all of your favorite holiday movies. One of my all-time favorite Christmas stories is How the Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss.

The book features a great lesson about spreading joy and kindness during the holidays. The story has been adapted into film several times since the book was published in 1957.

My preferred film adaptation is the 1966 television special, titled How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which features the voice of Boris Karloff as the Grinch/the narrator. The Grinch may be a Christmas killjoy, but the guy has a great theme song!

There’s also the iconic live-action version starring Jim Carrey as the titular character. Premiering in 2000, How the Grinch Stole Christmas gave the Grinch an interesting backstory and it was also hilarious and fun to look at. Whoville really does seem like the ultimate holiday destination in this version!

Another animated adaptation, simply called The Grinch, premiered in 2018. The Grinch features the voice talents of Benedict Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones, Kenan Thompson, Angela Lansbury, and Pharrell Williams.
