What will happen to Princess Diana in The Crown Season 4?

The courtship of Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor ) and Lady Diana Spencer was a short one. Charles felt the pressure to marry, and Diana was well received by the Queen, the Queen Mother and the Duke of Edinburgh, and also the rest of the country.

Hopefully, we get to see some of their courtship details during this season. We read about yacht trips, country outings and a trip to Ireland. Hopefully, some of this is included.

We know from the trailer that we will get to see the wedding, which also means the wedding dress will be featured. Their wedding has always been described as a “fairy tale” wedding and fans are ready to see this played out in the series.

Diana was always known for her fashion in the 80s and 90s, but her wedding gown is one of the most memorable. Netflix UK and Ireland Twitter reported the re-creation of Diana’s iconic wedding dress took four months, five fittings and 600 hours.

You know the story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s tragic marriage, and now we will see it played out in the series.

After a short five years of marriage, it was evident that the marriage was on the rocks. Charles had resumed his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles while at the same time Diana took up with Major James Hewitt, the family’s former riding instructor.

Their divorce wasn’t final until 1996, and the season 4 timeline ends around 1990. We can expect to see much about their engagement, wedding, the birth of their children, and the events that tear their marriage apart.
