Kids Christmas movies: 2. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is the newest Christmas movie on this list. It premiered on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 13, and it’s a must-watch on the streaming service this holiday season.

The Netflix original Christmas movie has an incredible cast led by Forest Whittaker. Madelen Mills, Keegan-Michael Key, Hugh Bonneville, Anika Noni Rose, Phylicia Rashad, and Ricky Martin star in the movie from David E. Talbert.

In the movie, toymaker and inventor extraordinaire, Jeronicus Jangle (Whittaker), loses the spirit for invention after his apprentice, Gustafson (Key), steals his notebook full of inventions. Tragedy strikes shortly after.

Years late, Jeronicus is visited by his granddaughter, Journey (Mills), who he doesn’t know. Journey tries to bring back her grandpa’s lust for creation.

Jingle Jangle is so good. It’s a musical, and it has so much good singing and dancing. It’s funny, sweet, heartfelt, and sad at times. Overall, it’s just a great movie for the whole family.

You won’t regret watching Jingle Jangle this Christmas.
