Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey comes to Netflix tonight

Holiday movie time is here! And Netflix, as always, has a ton of Christmas movies coming out in November and December. The latest is Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and it hits the streaming service tonight. Whether you have kids and are looking for a fun holiday movie for them to watch or are a kid at heart, this is definitely a movie to check out.

Jingle Jangle stars Madelen Mills, Forest Whitaker, Keegan-Micheal Key, Hugh Bonneville, Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose, and Ricky Martin. To say the cast is star-studded is an understatement.

The film follows the story of a famous toymaker, Jeronicus Jangle, who works in the fictional town of Cobbleton. His creations are filled with magic and wonder, creating joy for anyone who receives them.

But not all is well in Cobbleton. Jangle’s apprentice, Gustafson, has stolen one of his favorite creations and took all he had worked so hard to achieve. Luckily, there is still hope and it comes in the form of Jangle’s granddaughter, Journey. With her help and perhaps some assistance of a few friends, magic and everything Jangle worked for might not be lost.

Take a look at the trailer here:

While the cast alone makes this a must-watch, it also looks like such a heartwarming story and just the thing to get us all in the holiday spirit. It reminds me of everything I love about holiday movies plus amazing music (if the trailer is anything to go by) and a diverse cast so more people can see themselves fight for magic, hope, and everything the holidays are supposed to be about.

It also features Ricky Martin as a little animated dude named Don Juan Diego who sits on Gustafson’s shoulder and tells him what to do/yells at him. It looks hilarious! I’m also loving Buddy, the little robot toy, and all the joy even just the trailer gives off. This screams new holiday classic!
