Washington: Finn Wolfhard’s favorite city

Washington and Stranger Things are connected through none other than the actor that plays Mike Wheeler, Finn Wolfhard. In an interview he did while promoting Stranger Things season 3 with a local Seattle news station, he was asked about a statement he made saying Seattle was his favorite city.

Was it true? He confirmed it and talked about what he loved about Seattle. In the same interview, Millie Bobby Brown agreed with Wolfhard, and Noah Schnapp stated that he’d love to visit the Emerald City someday.

Wolfhard also has a band called Calpurnia that has played in Seattle before, and he used to make the two and a half hour drive from his home in Vancouver, British Columbia. As one of the closer big US cities near the US-Canadian border, it makes sense that it would be the city he’s familiar with the most and it seems, the one he likes the best.

Since starring in Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard’s career skyrocketed. Since starting as Mike Wheeler, he has been in It: Chapter Two, The Goldfinch, The Addams Family, the new Netflix Carmen Sandiego, and we will eventually get to see him in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

He’s also set to be in the latest Pinnochio coming out in 2021. It’s supposed to be a “darker” version of the original Disney film which will either be good or absolutely horrifying.
