Is Longmire coming back in 2020?

Longmire is one of the best shows on Netflix that you probably haven’t seen. The series premiered on A&E in 2012. The series is based on Walt Longmire Mysteries, a book series from Craig Johnson. I’ve heard the books are really, really good.

Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, and more. It tells the story of Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor) as he investigates various crimes in rural Wyoming.

Longmire was canceled after three seasons on A&E. Netflix, then, saved the series and renewed the series for three more seasons. The sixth season premiered on Netflix in November 2017. I can’t believe it was that long ago!

Sadly, Longmire has come to an end on Netflix after six seasons. I know that’s a bummer for fans of the series, but if Netflix hadn’t stepped in and saved the series, it would have ended after season 3. So, bright sides, am I right?

To answer the question, no, Longmire will not be returning with new seasons in 2020. It probably will never return with new seasons at this point.

You can watch all six seasons of Longmire on Netflix right now.
