Why was Star Wars: The Clone Wars canceled?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars was one of the big shows to return on Disney Plus. The seventh season premiered on Disney Plus launch day in 2019.

Before that, though, this show was left for dead, and it was Netflix that stepped in and gave the show new life.

After the fifth season, Cartoon Network canceled the series because of differences with LucasFilm. And, it moved to Netflix for the sixth season, which was a pretty big success for the streaming network. The Clone Wars remained on Netflix until April 2019.

The series was pulled from Netflix and later moved to Disney Plus. That’s where you can stream the series now. All seven seasons of The Clone Wars are available to stream on Disney Plus.

It’s unlikely we’ll ever see the series on Netflix again in the future, and that’s a real bummer.

Will Star Wars: The Clone Wars really end? It’s not expected that the series will return to Disney Plus for season 8. Hopefully, they will revisit this great series at some point, but it won’t be at Netflix.

It appears some of this story will be continued in other Star Wars shows and movies in the future.
