What we know about The Haunting season 3 release date and more so far
The Haunting of Bly Manor has just recently dropped on Netflix. You’re likely looking for more scary stories from Mike Flanagan and his team, which means looking for all information about The Haunting Season 3.
Netflix hasn’t confirmed the third season of the anthology series is happening yet, but that’s nothing to be worried about. It can take Netflix some time to announce a new season, usually about one or two months since the previous season was out.
There’s a lot of hype around The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, so we have no doubt that a third season is likely to happen.
The Haunting season 3 release date
Since the season hasn’t been confirmed yet, we don’t have a release date. It took two years between Hill House and Bly Manor. We can expect about the same time to wait for the third season of the horror anthology, and that’s without COVID-19 getting in the way.
So, we’re looking at The Haunting season 3 to come out around October 2022 at the earliest.
The Haunting season 3 cast
With the story being an anthology series, it means the cast doesn’t necessarily need to remain the same. However, some actors have remained with the project from the first season, most notably Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. We could expect to see them both return for the third season, but there’s no guarantee just yet.
Kate Siegel and Carla Gugino could make some surprise appearances as they have strong working relationships with Flanagan. Hey, Siegel is married to Flanagan.
We hope to see some of the other stars from either of the two seasons to return. It will be fun to see them as other characters in another ghost story.
The Haunting season 3 trailer
Since the show hasn’t even been confirmed or filmed anything yet, there’s no trailer just yet. This usually comes about a month before the premiere date, so we’ll keep you updated when there is one.
The Haunting season 3 synopsis
We have no idea what the ghost story could be this time. There are so many out there, but Mike Flanagan likes to keep as much as quiet as he can. Once we get the name of the house that’s likely to be haunted, we’ll probably be able to figure out a basic story.
However, Flanagan is very good at bringing a spiritual adaptation of a story rather than a direct one. The Haunting of Hill House series was nothing like the book, except for a few character names and the name of the house, for example.
