Twitter is obsessing over Victoria Pedretti after watching The Haunting of Bly Manor

If you’ve watched The Haunting of Bly Manor, then chances are you’re completely obsessed with Victoria Pedretti as Dani Clayton.

Pedretti played Nellie Crain in The Haunting of Hill House, and Dani is definitely a departure from that character. Nellie’s story is a pretty tragic one and it is her death in the very first episode that sets the events of Hill House in motion. Nellie is seen in flashbacks and as a ghost in the Red Room, but her siblings and how they come to terms with her demise are the primary focus of the season.

On the flip side, Dani is the heroine in Bly Manor and it’s her sacrifice that ultimately saves the day.

Dani is kind, fierce, compassionate, and determined, plus her love story with Jamie (Amelia Eve) is absolutely beautiful. Even though Dani doesn’t live to see Flora get married, she lifts the curse at Bly Manor through her selfless actions and the final shot of the season implies that she’ll always be watching over Jamie. Excuse me while I cry for an hour.

Viewers loved Victoria Pedretti as Dani and they are showering the actress with praise on Twitter. Pedretti’s performance as Dani was, as Flora would say, perfectly splendid.

The Haunting of Bly Manor takes place in 1987 and Pedretti’s outfits this season are fabulous. The show doesn’t make the time period look campy or overstated, but still showcases the style of the time. Pedretti also has blonde hair this season, which is a great look on her.
