30 best Halloween movies and shows on Netflix (2020)

Halloween movies and shows: 14. It Comes at Night
When A24 is behind a horror movie, you know it’s going to be good, and It Comes at Night is no exception! The movie stars Joel Edgerton, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo, and others as a disease begins to wipe out humanity, destroying the world as we know it.
Instead of showcasing creators, the supernatural, or gore, It Comes at Night relies on the biggest fear there is – fear itself. Because it has always been the unknown what we fear the most.
This movie may hit especially hard, or even be triggering, with our own pandemic going on at the moment. Be warned, this is not a fast-paced movie. For bigger thrills and faster delivery, I suggest a different film from the list.
Halloween movies and shows: 13. The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen
The Babysitter is a surprisingly fun movie with enough laughs to balance out the thrills. Recently, Netflix dropped the sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen. Both are available for you to stream so you’ve got a fun weekend ahead.
The first movie follows Cole (Judah Lewis), a young boy who has a crush on his babysitter, Bee. One night, he decides to stay up to see what Bee and her friends are up to. What he finds is Bee participating in a satanic cult, and now he is the prey.
I can’t share too much about the synopsis for Killer Queen, as it would spoil the movie for you! But at least you know you have this small franchise waiting for you on Netflix.
