New on Netflix October 2020
There are a bunch of great Netflix movies and shows coming to Netflix in October 2020. If you’re looking for new Halloween movies and shows, Netflix has some of those, too! We shared the list of what’s new on Netflix in October below.
It’s been a few months since we’ve seen this many good, new Netflix movies and shows coming to the streaming service. October is packed with new movies and shows for you to watch. As the weather starts to get colder and we’re hanging out inside more often, this is exactly what we need!
The Haunting of Bly Manor is likely going to be the biggest Netflix show of October. It premieres on Friday, Oct. 9. The second season of Netflix’s The Haunting anthology series lands on Netflix almost two years to the day that the first season, The Haunting of Hill House, premiered.
The series has an excellent cast with Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Cohen-Jackson, T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, and more. The Haunting of Bly Manor tells the story of Dani (Pedretti) as she begins working as a nanny for two kids at an English manor. Things get weird!
If you’re not about scary stuff, Hubie Halloween is probably the new Netflix movie for you. Hubie Halloween is another movie that comes to Netflix as part of Netflix’s deal with Adam Sandler and Happy Madison Productions.
In the movie, which hits Netflix on Oct. 7, Sandler stars as Hubie, a Halloween and safety enthusiast who tries to keep the town safe on Halloween. When some people in the town go missing, it’s up to Hubie to save the day.
This movie might be bad (on purpose!), but it will probably be the most-watched movie of the month. Netflix viewers love Sandler!
Fans will also need to check out Emily in Paris (Oct. 2), BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky (Oct. 14), The Trial of the Chicago 7 (Oct. 16), Over the Moon (Oct. 23), and more!
Netflix just shared the trailer for Over the Moon, and it looks incredible!
