Hubie Halloween release date, cast, trailer, synopsis and more

Good news, Adam Sandler fans! Adam Sandler’s newest Netflix movie, Hubie Halloween, is coming to Netflix soon!

Uncut Gems, which is not a Netflix movie, was added to Netflix in May 2020, and since then, we haven’t seen a new Sandler movie hit the streaming service. That changes in October with Hubie Halloween hitting the streaming service.

Hubie Halloween is produced by Happy Madison Productions, and it’s part of Netflix-Happy Madison deal that brings all those new movies directly to Netflix. Hubie Halloween is slated to be the ninth movie under the deal, including Sandler’s comedy special, 100% Fresh.

Steve Brill directed the Netflix movie, and Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the screenplay for the movie.

Here’s the logline for the movie, via Netflix:

Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), Hubie Dubois is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.
